Returns & Refunds

The Pack Daddies
Last updated: 24 October 2026

At The Pack Daddies, we are committed to providing genuine trading card products, secure packaging and a reliable shopping experience.

We understand the importance of product condition, particularly when purchasing sealed, collectible or high-value trading card products.

This policy explains how we handle cancellations, returns, refunds, damaged goods and product verification. Please read this policy before placing an order.

1. Change-of-Mind Returns

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, customers purchasing eligible products online generally have the right to cancel their purchase within 14 days of receiving their goods, without providing a reason.

Customers must notify The Pack Daddies of their decision to cancel within this period and have a further 14 days to return the goods.

Where multiple goods in one order are delivered separately, the applicable cancellation period generally runs from receipt of the final item.

For a full change-of-mind refund, we ask that items are returned in their original condition, including intact manufacturer seals where applicable.

Customers are responsible for the direct return postage costs associated with change-of-mind cancellations.

We do not offer an additional voluntary change-of-mind returns period beyond statutory cancellation rights.

To cancel an order, please email info@thepackdaddies.com with your order number and a clear statement of your intention to cancel.

Customers do not require our prior approval to exercise their statutory cancellation rights.

2. Sealed Trading Card Products

Due to the collectible nature and fluctuating market values of trading card products, The Pack Daddies operates a strict policy regarding opened and tampered-with products.

This policy applies to, but is not limited to:

  • Magic: The Gathering Play, Set and Draft Boosters
  • Collector Boosters and Collector Booster Boxes
  • Booster Boxes and Bundles
  • Commander Decks
  • Secret Lair products
  • Pokémon trading card products
  • One Piece trading card products
  • Other sealed TCG products and limited-edition collectibles

Opened Products

The Pack Daddies does not offer voluntary change-of-mind returns or refunds for opened booster packs, booster boxes or other opened factory-sealed trading card products.

Factory seals should remain intact for customers seeking a full change-of-mind refund.

Opening trading card products to reveal their contents is considered handling beyond what is normally necessary to inspect the goods.

Once a trading card product has been opened, its collectible value and ability to be resold as new may be significantly reduced.

Where a customer exercises their statutory cancellation rights, The Pack Daddies reserves the right to make a lawful deduction reflecting any reduction in the product's value caused by handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect it.

For certain opened collectible products, this deduction could be substantial and may amount to the full purchase price where the actual loss in value justifies it.

Any deduction will be assessed individually and will reflect the actual loss in value. It will not be applied automatically simply because a factory seal has been broken.

These conditions do not affect statutory rights where goods are faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or not as described.

3. Randomised Trading Card Contents

Trading card products frequently contain randomised cards determined by the manufacturer.

Unless specifically stated in a product description, The Pack Daddies does not guarantee:

  • Particular cards, characters or treatments.
  • Specific rarities, including mythic rares or chase cards.
  • Specific pull rates or combinations of cards.
  • Particular card grades or secondary-market values.
  • Any financial return or profit from opening trading card products.

The contents of sealed products are determined by the manufacturer and are not selected or controlled by The Pack Daddies.

Disappointment with the cards obtained from a randomised product does not, by itself, constitute a fault.

We do not offer voluntary refunds solely because a customer is dissatisfied with the value or rarity of cards obtained.

Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected where a product is faulty, misdescribed or otherwise does not conform to the contract.

4. Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Products

The Pack Daddies takes care to package orders securely and minimise the risk of damage during delivery.

If you receive a damaged, faulty or incorrect product, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible at info@thepackdaddies.com.

Please include your order number and a description of the issue. We will investigate the matter and provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with UK consumer law.

Photographic Evidence

To help assess damaged or faulty product claims, we may request reasonable supporting evidence. This may include:

  • Original, unedited photographs of the affected product.
  • Clear photographs showing the reported fault or damage.
  • Photographs of the original external delivery packaging.
  • Photographs showing the shipping label.
  • Photographs showing the product's factory seals, where relevant.

Additional Verification

To protect our customers and business against fraudulent claims, The Pack Daddies may request additional verification where appropriate.

This may include providing the customer with a unique claim verification code.

The customer may be asked to write this code by hand on a piece of paper and position it beside the affected product when taking a new photograph.

For higher-value products or where the available evidence is inconclusive, we may also request:

  • A short, continuous, unedited video showing the product and reported damage.
  • Additional photographs from different angles.
  • Further information regarding the delivery or condition of the product.
  • Return of the affected product for physical inspection.

AI-Generated or Manipulated Evidence

AI-generated, fabricated or deliberately manipulated images must not be submitted as genuine evidence of product damage, faults or delivery issues.

The Pack Daddies reserves the right to investigate evidence that reasonably appears inconsistent, altered or misleading.

Where appropriate, submitted evidence may be compared against our own dispatch photographs, packaging records, recorded parcel weights and carrier information.

We may request further reasonable evidence or arrange inspection where the original evidence is inconclusive.

We recognise that photographs, videos and verification codes cannot conclusively establish authenticity in every case.

Evidence requests will be reasonable and proportionate. Where a customer cannot reasonably provide a particular photograph or video, alternative methods of assessing the claim will be considered.

The absence of any particular photograph, video or verification code will not automatically invalidate a legitimate claim or restrict statutory consumer rights.

Customer Rights for Faulty Goods

Where goods are faulty, damaged during delivery, not as described or incorrectly supplied, customers are entitled to the remedies provided by UK consumer law.

These may include a refund, repair, replacement or other legally required remedy, depending on the circumstances.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, customers generally have a short-term right to reject qualifying faulty goods within 30 days. Additional statutory remedies may apply after this period.

The Pack Daddies will cover reasonable return costs where required by law.

There is no requirement to report a fault within 24 or 48 hours in order to retain statutory consumer rights.

5. Pre-Orders and Upcoming Releases

The Pack Daddies accepts pre-orders for upcoming trading card releases and collectible products.

Pre-orders may be cancelled for a full refund at any time before dispatch.

Release dates and product availability are determined by manufacturers and distributors and may change.

Where a release is delayed, we will endeavour to communicate relevant information to affected customers.

If we are unable to fulfil a pre-order, we will provide a full refund for the unavailable products.

Once an order has been dispatched and delivered, applicable statutory cancellation rights continue to apply.

The Pack Daddies does not guarantee future secondary-market values for pre-ordered products.

Nothing in this section restricts customers' statutory rights concerning non-delivery, significant delays or goods that do not conform to the contract.

6. Returns Address and Postage

Before returning a product, we recommend contacting our customer service team for return instructions, particularly where the item is faulty or damaged.

Please send returns to:

The Pack Daddies
5 Albert Road
Ballachulish
PH49 4JR
United Kingdom

Email: info@thepackdaddies.com

Customers should package returned products securely to minimise damage during transit.

We recommend using a tracked delivery service and retaining proof of postage, particularly for valuable trading card products.

Change-of-Mind Returns

Customers are responsible for the direct costs of returning goods where they exercise their statutory right to cancel because they have changed their mind.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products

Where products are faulty, misdescribed, damaged during delivery or incorrectly supplied, The Pack Daddies will cover reasonable return costs as required by law.

Where necessary, we may arrange a suitable return method or collection.

7. Refund Processing

Where a statutory cancellation right applies, refunds will include:

  • The qualifying purchase price of the cancelled goods.
  • Applicable standard outbound delivery charges, where paid.

Where customers selected an upgraded or premium delivery service, such as express or next-day delivery, we are generally only required to refund the equivalent cost of standard delivery.

For qualifying statutory cancellations involving goods that must be returned, refunds will be processed without undue delay and no later than 14 days after:

  • We receive the returned goods; or
  • The customer provides evidence of having sent them back;

whichever occurs first.

Where goods are not required to be returned, the applicable statutory refund deadline will apply.

Refunds will normally be processed using the original payment method unless another method is expressly agreed.

We do not charge cancellation fees or restocking fees for exercising statutory cancellation rights.

Where permitted by law, deductions may be applied to reflect actual reductions in product value resulting from excessive handling.

Refund timing for faulty products will follow the applicable requirements of UK consumer law.

8. Changes in Market Value

Trading card products are collectibles and may experience changes in market value following their initial release.

The Pack Daddies is not responsible for changes in secondary-market values after purchase.

We do not offer retrospective price matching or voluntary refunds solely because an item has decreased in value.

A customer cannot claim that an otherwise correctly supplied product is faulty simply because its market value has changed.

This section does not restrict statutory cancellation rights or remedies for faulty or misdescribed goods.

Any lawful deduction for diminished product value following excessive handling will be based on the actual loss attributable to that handling, rather than unrelated market fluctuations.

9. Fraudulent Claims and Product Misrepresentation

The Pack Daddies takes fraudulent return and refund claims seriously.

We reserve the right to investigate suspected misconduct, including:

  • Deliberately falsified damage claims.
  • AI-generated or manipulated evidence presented as genuine.
  • Deliberate damage falsely attributed to shipping.
  • Product substitution or attempted returns of different items.
  • Misrepresentation of a product's condition.
  • Tampering with products or manufacturer seals accompanied by misleading claims.

Where reasonable concerns exist, we may request further evidence, review dispatch records or arrange a physical inspection.

If a claim is reasonably established to be fraudulent, we may refuse any voluntary refund and take appropriate further action.

We will not refuse a statutory remedy solely on suspicion or because a customer is unable to provide a particular form of evidence.

All claims will be assessed fairly and in accordance with applicable consumer law.

  • The Consumer Rights Act 2015.
  • The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

Where any provision of this policy conflicts with applicable consumer law, the relevant statutory provisions will take precedence.
